Ayyamittu Unn – Feeding the Hungry

Inspired by the words of Tamil poet Avvaiyar, our “Ayyamittu Unn” program was initiated by Dr. Issa Fathima Jasmine, Director at Property Automate.

How It Works

  • Anyone with leftover or freshly made food can pack and label it with the type of food and place it in community fridges.
  • Dedicated security personnel monitor food safety & hygiene.
  • A distribution support team visits the fridge places to donate and check essentials.

Since its launch, the initiative has seen:

  • 10,000+ daily beneficiaries across different locations
  • Participation from donors
  • Growing support from volunteers who prepare meals at home
